We have just returned from our 5th visit to the wonderful Old Dairy Barn. It is a marvellous place to stay, just outside Bath, in the perfect village of Bathford. Quiet, private and comfortable with a lovely owner who is immensely relaxed and helpful. Dog walking heaven and very easy access to the city of Bath. The best AirBnB we have ever stayed in.

We only wish we'd been able to stay longer! What a special place - so peaceful, yet close to Bath city centre, accessed via a stroll along the Kennett and Avon canal. The views from the bedroom window made getting up early easy: pink mist with birdsong. We hope to be back soon.

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Dairy Barn. It was both spacious and cosy at the same time and the views over the local church and hills behind were lovely. Maggie was a great host and helped us with walk suggestions which worked for our children. We all enjoyed chatting with her and meeting her dog! The village is good for families with quick access to the countryside, a pub, shop and sweet playground. And it is in a perfect place to explore Bath and the local area. We'd wholeheartedly recommend a stay there.

The Old Dairy is a cosy cottage on a quiet lane just a short drive to the centre of Bath. The views from the master bedroom are wonderful overlooking the local church, with Bath in the distance.The property was well equipped and had everything we needed(including 3 Jane Austin DVDs)and was spotlessly clean and tidy. Communication with our host was excellent before and throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome. We loved the small courtyard to sit and have a coffee. All in all, we had a delightful Staycation!

This is a lovely cottage. If you are looking for proximity to Bath but a rural feel the Old Dairy is perfect. Maggie was a splendid host who went out of her way to make things comfortable for everyone, including our 15 month-old baby.

We enjoyed a wonderful week in a lovely, cosy and comfortable setting within a canalside walk of Bath (albeit an hour's walk but an easy stroll). Old Dairy Barn has much to commend itself and is well worth a visit.

We stayed at Old Dairy Barn in July 2018 and loved it all. Character, comfort, views, hidden away, private, easy trip in to Bath, fully equipped, scrupulously clean, we could go on. Maggie is the perfect host, friendly, helpful, and considerate. We also loved Bath, and this location was perfect to explore this region. If we ever get the chance to return, we will go straight back to Maggie's
